Notes on "Oseh Shalom"

(Notes by Peter Saltzman)

(See note for "Prologue" for explanation of this melody.) The first half of Kabbalah Blues closes with a repeat of the the Oseh Shalom theme, this time with just voice and malleted drums, performed exquisitely by Gingi and Jeff. This listener should take note of how the meaning of this theme changes from the Prologue to this movement to the Finale.
